Salary:  R 20 000 to R 25 000 pm

 

Brief Description:

My client is seeking an experience Regional Account Manager that will be responsible for establishing and maintaining key relationships within the region.   Execution of regional strategies and execution plans to ensure market share and revenue growth within the region.

This role will cover Northern Region (Limpopo Mpumalanga) – position based in Mbombela

Role reports into the National Operations Manager.

 

Qualification:

Matric

Sales Diploma advantageous

 

Experience and Competencies Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years Account Management Experience
  • Must have Informal/Main market working experience in the telecommunications industry (advantageous)
  • Customer focus
  • Starter Pack or Prepaid Distribution and Sales experience (advantageous)
  • A proven track record in account management, revenue & market share growth
  • Willing to travel extensively
  • Driver’s license

 

Key Performance Areas:

Relationship Management

  • Developing and maintaining trust relationship with both the network operator regional representatives as well as Company’s distribution partners within the region.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of the network operators’ regional needs and requirements in order to align with the network operator’s regional strategy and execution plans.
  • Expand the relationships with the network operators regional teams and the Company’s existing distribution partners by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between network operators regional teams, the Company’s key distribution partners and internal teams.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by the company’s key distribution partners and deal with complaints to maintain trust.

 

Analytics and Reporting

  • Prepare regular reports of progress against objectives, execution plan progress and implementation and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Analyze data and statistics to inform the regional strategy and execution plans to ensure the successful implementation thereof.
  • Monthly Regional analysis and performance reporting.
  • Monitor regional market trends and competitor (Company and Network Operator) activity.

 

Market Share and Revenue Growth

  • Assist the National Operations Manager to develop regional strategies and execution plans to ensure the successful growth of the network operator and the company’s market share and revenues within the region.
  • Drive the successful implementation of the regional strategy and execution plans within the region ensuring that the targets set are met.
  • Achievement of set monthly targets for the region.

  • Plan and prioritise, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands
  • Demonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change
